About

Set in a rare old shophouse in the fringes of Singapore's CBD, Tanjong Pagar, Delhi Express is the sister branch of the original, located in Lau Pa Sat. The restaurant serves Drinks (Happy Hour) daily from 5 pm to 7 pm,Dinner nightly and Breakfast to be introduced shortly.

The restaurant's food pays homage to traditionally loved food from Delhi, with a strict emphasis on quality and freshness of ingredients used. Each menu item has been designed with the average Singapore customer in mind, not too spicy, not too salty - just right.

For us, we live by the following motto. "It takes months to find a customer, and only Seconds to lose one". We take both positive and negative feedback very seriously and try our best to put our feet in the shoes of our customers. We value long-lasting relationships far greater than short term cash inflows, and the fact that over 70% of our customers are regulars testify to that.

Decoarch Pte. Ltd. is the architecture firm in charge and has overseen the entire interior design of the restaurant.

Our Story

ROHIT JOIS

Rohit is the Co-Owner and Business Development Head of Delhi Express. He grew up in Singapore, spending much of his time outside the kitchen rather than in. Rather, He learned the importance of hospitality and entrepreneurial spirit through his parents who love cooking and frequently hosted events at home.

He is the Business Development head, responsible for partnerships, conceptualising and executing new ventures and staff training.

Rohit is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and prior to opening Delhi Express, worked in KPMG as an auditor.

Our Story

VIRBAHADUR YADAV

Vir is the Co-Owner of Delhi Express. He hails from a small town in Bihar, India and has worked his way from a Non-English background to saving up the money to open his own restaurant in a foreign country.

He is the operational head, leading innovation, increasing efficiency and staff hiring.

Vir is also a Chartered Accountant and has specialised in Taxation, topping Singapore’s ACCA tax results in 2016.

If you are looking for authentic Indian food in Singapore, this place is to be at. Ved is an amazing host and looks after the guests extremely well. Food is amazing and service is quick. I requested them for food that was not on their menu and they obliged. Portions sizes are good and sufficient for 2-3 people.

An authentic food from north india.....the chicken kathi roll is awesome.........as well as they are serving set meals,not sure about the timing but surely in lunch.....briyani nd naan are excellent.......very nice service.the taste nd the quality of food......awesome....
